the Toronto maple leafs took on the ottawa senators during round 1 of the NHl playoffs in 2025. for the first time in 21 years. the series is widely known as the battle on ontario. 

this was one of those headlines that instantly made me go "aha!" and the collective "ooooooohhhh" from the team validated my feeling. but the best part was that the clients (and salespeople and vendors) liked it so much, they put it on the rink boards during the series. plus, they said Zeno was "winning the playoffs." great times.
